⁶ Judas^[a] accepted their offer and began to look for a good opportunity to betray Jesus^[b] to them when no crowd was present.

⁷ Then the day of the Festival^[c] of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed. ⁸ So Jesus^[d] sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover meal.”
